Michel C. Poirier, B.P.A., LL.B. has extensive experience providing business clientele with a broad range of legal advice. His primary practice area is Business Law, covering various aspects of corporate, commercial, litigation, property, administrative, and trade law.
Mr. Poirier graduated from Carleton University in 1988 with a Bachelor in Public Administration, and from Dalhousie University Law School in 1991. He practiced in Halifax, Nova Scotia for three years and has practiced in Moncton, New Brunswick since 1994. Mr. Poirier is an occasional instructor in Commercial Law at Mount Allison University.
In addition to his legal background Mr. Poirier has served as management consultant to the private sector overseas, worked for the Parliament of Canada, as well as with senior executives of the Government of Canada.
Mr. Poirier is a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick and the Canadian Bar Association - Corporate Counsel subsection.
